TOMORROW: Crisis in Ukraine Briefing w/ Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-NJ)

For the first time since WWII, we may soon see a land war in Europe. As President Biden said from the White House earlier today, Russia’s actions are “a flagrant violation of international law and demand a firm response from the international community.” We commend the Biden administration’s leadership in response to Russian aggression and the President’s commitment to defending Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

This past weekend, Vice President Harris led the U.S. delegation to the Munich Security Conference, where she warned Russia against the U.S. imposition of “some of the greatest sanctions, if not the strongest, that we’ve ever issued.” With today’s announcement of new devastating sanctions on Russian entities and individuals following its invasion of the Donbas region of Ukraine, the Biden administration is demonstrating that Russian aggression will be met with punitive action.
