Jewish Dems Speak Out on the Jewish Vote
WASHINGTON – Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA) Executive Director Halie Soifer released the following statement on how American Jews will vote in 2020.
“Jewish voters overwhelmingly oppose Donald Trump and will vote against him in November, regardless of who is the Democratic nominee for president. Jews vote largely on domestic policy issues driven by their values. Trump’s policies and rhetoric are antithetical to our core beliefs, and have made Jews less secure. These are the factors that will drive the Jewish vote in November.
“Candidates should be judged on their positions, not on whether they attend any particular conference. JDCA will support the Democratic nominee – whomever that may be – in November, and strongly opposes the use of Israel as a political wedge issue. The U.S.-Israel relationship, has been — and must remain — a bipartisan issue.”
