Jewish Dems Endorse More House, Senate and Gubernatorial Candidates

WASHINGTON – The Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA), the national voice of Jewish Democrats, announced 15 additional House, Senate, and gubernatorial endorsements across the country whose values and priorities align with Jewish voters. Included in this round of endorsements are Josh Stein, who would be the first Jewish governor of North Carolina, several DCCC “red to blue” Democratic challengers to House GOP incumbents, and Senate Democrats up for re-election. These additional endorsements bring JDCA’s total endorsements this cycle to 98.

Ron Klein, JDCA chair, said, “In competitive races across the country, the Jewish vote can and will make the difference for Democrats. This election will impact everything that Jewish voters care about, from our democracy to abortion access to rising antisemitism and support for Israel. Our endorsed candidates share our fundamental values and we’re proud to support them.”

JDCA PAC launched a $1.5 million mobilization campaign and JDCA remains the only national organization dedicated to mobilizing Jewish voters to advocate for policies and to elect Democrats. That focused mission has proven successful in electing Tom Suozzi in NY-3, Shontel Brown in OH-11, and President Biden in 2020, among many others.

Halie Soifer, JDCA CEO, added, “Nothing less than the future of our democracy and freedoms are on the ballot in November. Since 2018, JDCA has turned out the Jewish vote and elected Democrats who advocate for our values, from fighting antisemitism to protecting reproductive freedom, and supporting Israel. In this year’s election, with everything on the line, we will make Jewish voices heard at the ballot box and ensure that Democrats win.”
