JDCA Sends Petition to DHS Calling on Secretary Nielsen to Resign

Today, the Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA) sent a petition to the Department of Homeland Security demanding that Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen resign following her disastrous enforcement and mendacious lies about the Trump administration’s family separation policy. We thank our more than 2,000 supporters who signed our petition and joined with our call. The “zero-tolerance” immigration policy implemented by the current administration is immoral and a violation of our values as Americans and Jews.  We have vowed to “never again” allow the darkest chapters of history to be repeated, and expect our government to adhere to this commitment.
