JDCA Announces First Round of 2024 Senate Endorsements: Five Incumbents in Competitive Races

WASHINGTON – The Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA), announced today its first round of 2024 Senate endorsements, following its endorsement of President Joe Biden for re-election in April.

JDCA and JDCA PAC focused early in the 2024 election cycle on incumbent Democratic senators in highly competitive races whose re-election will be critical to ensuring Democrats’ Senate majority.

The five endorsed candidates are Sen. Tammy Baldwin (WI), Sen. Sherrod Brown (OH), Sen. Bob Casey (PA), Sen. Jacky Rosen (NV), and Sen. Jon Tester (MT).

Sen. Tammy Baldwin said:

“I’m proud to have the endorsement of the Jewish Democratic Council of America. I’m committed to standing with JDCA and the Jewish community across Wisconsin to fight antisemitism, defend our democracy, and stand up for our essential rights and freedoms.”

Sen. Jacky Rosen said:

“I’m honored to have the support of the Jewish Democratic Council of America in my re-election campaign in Nevada. As the only former synagogue president and third Jewish woman to serve in the Senate, I’ve been proud to advocate for the needs of our community – including working to combat the disturbing rise in antisemitism in this country, promote the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship, and fight back against attacks on our democracy and reproductive rights. JDCA is doing important work to engage and motivate Jewish Democrats across the country, and I look forward to continuing to work together to fight for our shared values.”
