Our nation has been ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the extreme hardship and loss of life it has caused was preventable. President Trump’s refusal to listen to science has resulted in more than 130,000 American deaths from COVID-19 and counting, plus many more who are either sick or survived and continue to suffer. The President’s failure to lead amid this unprecedented public health crisis is astounding, and his culpability in the needless suffering of so many Americans is beyond question.
It’s clear that Donald Trump cares more about his political agenda and re-election than our lives and those of our loved ones, but we don’t have to accept his ignorance or recklessness as our new norm. We’ll also be joined by Vice President of the National Women’s Law Center, Melissa Boteach, an expert in women’s economic security, to talk about the disproportionate impact of the pandemic on women in the workplace. Jeremy and Melissa will talk to us about what we can expect in the months ahead as we contemplate a return to work and school, and provide policy recommendations for the next administration, Congress, and for us all.

Millions have lost jobs, hours, pay, health care, or the small business they started, through no fault of their own. We refuse to accept any of this as normal. We are doing all we can to defeat Donald Trump, flip the Senate to Democratic control, and restore responsible and moral leadership to Washington, but we need your help.
