Battle for the Soul of the Nation

September 2, 2022

Jewish Dems answer Biden’s call in the battle for the soul of the nation as the only national organization mobilizing exclusively Jewish voters.

When President Biden announced his campaign in 2019, he declared that it was a battle for the soul of the nation. Last night in Philadelphia, the president confirmed that the battle continues today, including at the ballot box. After explaining the unprecedented threat posed by MAGA Republicans to our democracy, rights, security and values, he implored Americans to “get engaged. Vote. Vote. Vote.”

As President Biden said: “We are not bystanders in this ongoing attack on democracy. There are far more Americans, from every background and belief, who reject the extreme MAGA ideology than those that accept it. It’s within our power, within our hands, to stop the assault on American democracy.” President Biden issued a call to action for us all to play a role in this ongoing battle for the soul of our nation in the midterm elections, which are just 67 days away.

Americans are demonstrating that they recognize and reject danger emanating from the GOP as Democrats build momentum in the lead-up to November. Mary Peltola’s victory this week over Sarah Palin in Alaska is the latest example of how the tide is turning in the favor of Democrats. From Kansas to New York, and even Alaska, Americans are rejecting Republican extremism and attacks on our rights. Now it’s up to us to ensure this continues in the midterms.

JDCA is answering the President’s call as the only national organization exclusively targeting and mobilizing Jewish voters to defend democracy and stand up for our values by supporting Democrats.
