JDCA mourns the sudden death of Kevin Kamenetz

JDCA is shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Baltimore County Executive and Maryland gubernatorial candidate Kevin Kamenetz.

Kevin was a fixture of Democratic Party politics and leadership in Maryland for nearly twenty-five years. His belief in good governance inspired him to invest in public education, local economies, our environment, and building bridges and relationships throughout the state. A proud member of the Jewish community, his Judaism was ever-present in his long-time representation of and service to the people of Baltimore County. He will be missed.

May his memory be for a blessing, and may his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
