We Need Leadership
October 2, 2020
We were dismayed to learn the President of the United States had COVID-19. The Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA) wishes President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, and every American suffering from COVID-19, a full and healthy recovery. We also urge all Americans to do their part to stop the spread of this highly contagious disease that has taken far too many lives. We believe in pikuach nefesh, the sanctity of life, and want to elect those who share this value and will ensure the health and safety of all Americans.
As we grapple with this news and face uncertainty, one thing is clear – the most consequential election of our lifetime is just 32 days away, and we need leadership. That is why we’re doing everything we can to ensure we elect Joe Biden and other Democrats who share our values, and we encourage you to join us. Click here or on the image below to sign-up for our newly launched on-demand phone banking, which allows you to mobilize Jewish voters from your home at your own convenience!
In addition to phone banking and text banking, JDCA has two major events next week, and you’re all invited. Join us on Tuesday, October 6 at 3:00pm ET for a webinar with Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold on “The Mechanics of Voting,” discussing her efforts to fight voter suppression, and join us for a Pre-Debate Schmooze at 7:30pm ET on Wednesday, October 7, before the vice presidential debate on Wednesday evening. RSVP by clicking the images below.
Tonight, we celebrate Sukkot. As you gather in your sukkahs and around your Shabbat tables, please know that Jewish Dems are doing everything we can to ensure a brighter future and restore the soul of our nation.
Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach,
