We can’t let these antisemitic candidates win

September 24, 2024

Democrats can win the race for the White House and control of both the Senate and the House, but it will be close.

We know – and Donald Trump knows – Jewish voters can and will make the difference for Democrats on November 5, but we must vote. We can’t leave anything to chance, not when the alternatives are Republican candidates who openly traffic in antisemitic conspiracies and tropes on the campaign trail.

Antisemitism is very much on the ballot in 2024, and we need to ensure antisemitic candidates are defeated. Here are three Republican candidates we’re working to defeat this year.

Support our efforts to get Jewish voters to the polls in battleground states to reject these candidates and elect Democrats who share our values.

1. Donald Trump

Proactively scapegoating “the Jewish people” for a potential election loss, disparaging millions of American Jews, and posturing that Israel’s survival is contingent on his election win is more than enough antisemitism for an entire presidential campaign or career. Donald Trump said all of this – and more – in a single speech last week.

And that’s on top of aligning and dining with dangerous white supremacists and right-wing extremists. For more on the threat posed by Donald Trump to Jewish Americans, check out our latest reel and share.

2. Kari Lake
In the Arizona Senate race, election denier Kari Lake – who frequently perpetuates the antisemitic Great Replacement Theory favored by white nationalists – is running against Rep. Ruben Gallego – a friend to Israel who has combated antisemitism through his work in the House.

We’re working hard to defeat Kari Lake in Arizona. Donate now to help Ruben Gallego and other Democrats defeat antisemitic opponents.

3. Eric Hovde

Eric Hovde is running for Senate in Wisconsin. During a podcast appearance, he perpetuated the antisemitic Great Reset – a conspiracy theory that Jewish global elites would use the pandemic to advance their interests. He has also used antisemitic slurs and tropes when describing Jewish people.

Donate now to help reelect Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin, a leader in the Senate on the issues Jewish Americans care about, including reproductive rights and gun control.

We said it last week, and we’ll say it again – let’s keep the momentum trending in our direction. Let’s keep sharing our message of joy, unity, and safety for Jewish Americans. Let’s continue to reject GOP antisemitism. Together, we can win.
