Watch JDCA debate at AJC’s Global Forum

Tomorrow, I will participate in The Great Debate at AJC’s Global Forum in Washington, D.C., where I will contrast President Biden and Democrats’ strong record of delivering for Jewish Americans with the persistent threat posed by Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans.

The AJC “Great Debate” debate will be on Tuesday, June 11, at 9:00 a.m. ET. If you can’t attend in person, we encourage you to watch the livestream. It will be followed by an opportunity to hear from National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

Today, the American Jewish Committee (AJC) released a new poll of Jewish American voters. The poll confirmed that Jewish Americans continue to overwhelmingly support President Biden, reject Donald Trump, and trust Biden over Trump on the U.S.-Israel relationship and combating antisemitism. Jewish Americans understand that Joe Biden is fighting for our priorities and that Donald Trump represents the antithesis of our values. This is why we must work together to ensure President Biden is reelected in November.

AJC’s national poll indicates that both Joe Biden and Donald Trump have essentially the same amount of support among Jewish voters as they did in 2020 among the same group of voters. It also shows that Jewish voters trust Biden more than Trump on Israel by a 2-to-1 margin and trust Biden more than Trump on combating antisemitism by nearly a 3-to-1 margin.

Of note, 16 percent of those polled are either not voting or supporting a third-party candidate. Over the next five months, JDCA will focus on reaching these voters and ensuring they vote for Joe Biden, and we hope you’ll join us.
