Shake the Lulav & Shake off Trump
As we celebrate Sukkot, we reflect on the symbolism of the plants we shake within the sukkah, which represent taking action to create a better world. This Sukkot, we’re ready to shake things up – literally and figuratively – taking action to get out the Jewish vote in the final 18 days of this election.
On Sunday, October 20, you can join us under the sukkah for our GOTJV – Get Out the Jewish Vote – Canvass Launch in Philadelphia. We will come together as a community in the sukkah before knocking on doors in support of Kamala Harris. If you can’t make it to Philadelphia, sign up for one of our other canvasses or phone banks in critical battleground states. We’re taking action everywhere it matters the most in these final weeks of the election – join us!
SINWAR BROUGHT TO JUSTICE
Yesterday, Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind of the horrific terrorist attacks of October 7, was brought to justice. To quote Vice President Harris, “the United States, Israel and the entire world are better off as a result.” What has Donald Trump said about this significant development? Nothing. Silence.
Sinwar had American and Israeli blood on his hands and was responsible for the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust, the brutal rape and sexual assault of countless victims, the execution of hostages, the abduction of more than 240 people, and the continued detainment of approximately 100 Israelis, Americans, and others held in Gaza.
After October 7, President Biden and Vice President Harris directed American resources to work with Israel to locate Sinwar and bring him to justice, and justice has been served. The Biden-Harris administration continues to take unprecedented action to stand with Israel and ensure its right to self-defense amid ongoing threats from Iran and its proxies. We join them in calling for the immediate release of the hostages still held in Hamas captivity. Read our full statement.
NEW VIDEO: HARRIS AND TRUMP, SIDE-BY-SIDE
Kamala Harris condemns antisemitism whenever it occurs and has taken steps to protect Jewish Americans, including by helping to implement the first-ever National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism. Donald Trump, meanwhile, is preemptively blaming – scapegoating – Jewish Americans if he loses the election. Kamala Harris continues to commit unprecedented U.S. support for Israel, while Donald Trump claims Israel ‘won’t exist’ if he’s not elected.
JDCA PAC’s new 40-second video shows a side-by-side of how Harris and Trump address antisemitism and Israel. Send this video to anyone you know to demonstrate that Kamala Harris stands with us, while Donald Trump is a threat to our community, security, and values.
With your support, our ads have already reached Jewish voters more than 30 million times, and our volunteers have made nearly 1.7 million direct voter contacts through phone calls, text messages, and door knocks. Donating to JDCA PAC today means your gift will have twice the impact. Join us!
JEWISH CONSERVATIVES FOR KAMALA
Earlier this week, we did something different: we partnered with prominent Jewish conservative leaders to discuss why they are supporting Kamala Harris for president. Dr. Eliot Cohen, a senior advisor to Condoleezza Rice in the George W. Bush administration, told us, “I have infinitely more confidence in Kamala Harris than I do in Donald Trump,” and that the Biden-Harris administration’s Israel policy has been “remarkable.” Bill Kristol warned that Republicans have removed all guardrails for Trump’s anti-democratic extremism and that a second Trump term would be “more dangerous” than the first.
We hosted this event so that undecided voters could hear the truth about Kamala Harris’s record and why she has built a broad coalition of support, including in the Jewish community. Forward this recording to any undecided voters who need to hear from two prominent Jewish conservatives about why they should vote for Kamala Harris.
