Jewish Dems Endorse in Key House Races
WASHINGTON – With just over two weeks until Election Day, the Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA) endorsed six Democratic House candidates in key races where Jewish voters can help ensure Democratic victories.
The endorsements follow the launch of a series of digital ads targeting hundreds of thousands of Jewish voters in critical battleground states, part of a seven-figure JDCA PAC digital advertising spend. JDCA PAC plans to spend more than two million dollars on targeted ads to drive the Jewish vote for Democrats this election cycle.
These endorsements include candidates running in competitive and safe districts and incumbents aligned with JDCA’s platform. In the tenth and final round of JDCA’s political endorsements for the 2024 election cycle, these additional endorsements bring JDCA’s total number of endorsements to 146, the most candidates JDCA has ever endorsed.
Sam Crystal, JDCA Chief of Staff, said on the latest endorsements, “Control of the House of Representatives could be determined by just a few thousand votes in a handful of districts, making every single Jewish vote essential. Our endorsees are defenders of democracy and face Republicans who’d enable Donald Trump’s extreme agenda that threatens abortion access and fuels antisemitism. These next few weeks will be critical to our future, and JDCA is committed to ensuring Democratic victories.”
Today, JDCA endorsed:
- George Whitesides, CA-27
- Rep. Frank Mrvan, IN-01
- April McClain Delaney, MD-06
- Ray Hartmann, MO-02
- Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, TX-07
- State Senator Emily Randall, WA-06
JDCA leaders are available for interview to discuss the importance of mobilizing the Jewish vote in the lead-up to Election Day and how JDCA’s endorsed candidates embody the values and priorities of Jewish Americans.
