Jewish Dems Endorse House Candidates, Including Challengers to Republicans
WASHINGTON – The Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA), the national voice of Jewish Democrats, announced its endorsement of seven additional congressional candidates across the country whose values and priorities align with Jewish voters. Included in this round of endorsements are several Democratic challengers to House GOP incumbents and Democrats up for reelection. These additional endorsements bring JDCA’s total endorsements this cycle to 109.
Ron Klein, JDCA Board Chair, said, “Control of the House and Senate may come down to a few thousand votes, and Jewish voters can help deliver victory for Democrats. This is one of the most important elections of our lifetime because it will determine safeguards for issues that matter to Jewish voters: preserving our democracy, access to abortion, combating rising antisemitism, and support for Israel. Our endorsed candidates align with our core values, and we’re proud to back them.”
Izzy Klein, JDCA Political Committee Chair, added, “The future of our democracy and freedoms is at stake in November’s election. Since its inception, JDCA has mobilized the Jewish vote and elected Democrats who champion our values— defending reproductive rights, countering antisemitism, defending democracy at home and abroad, and supporting Israel. This year, with so much on the line, we are committed to making Jewish voices heard at the polls and securing victories for Democrats.”
Today, JDCA endorsed:
– Josh Harder, CA-09
– Jared Moskowitz, FL-23
– John “Johnny O” Olszewski, MD-02
– Kristen McDonald Rivet, MI-08
– John Avlon, NY-01
