Jewish Dems Condemn Trump’s Use of White Supremacist Symbol

WASHINGTON–The Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA) today condemned President Trump for tweeting a 2020 campaign video that included a logo used by white supremacists. JDCA Executive Director Halie Soifer said the following:

“We have seen a troubling yet consistent pattern of President Trump validating and amplifying radical right-wing voices and emboldening white nationalists, and Republicans have chosen to remain silent. Trump and Republicans are normalizing hatred in our country, and the Jewish community has become less safe. Legitimizing white supremacists is inexcusable and un-American. We call on President Trump to immediately end this abhorrent and dangerous behavior, and we call on the Republican Jewish Coalition and the Republican Party to join us in strongly condemning it.”
