Jewish Dems Celebrate Historic Confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson

WASHINGTON – Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA) CEO Halie Soifer released the following statement in response to the historic confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson as the next associate justice of the US Supreme Court:

“Today, we join with millions of Americans in celebrating the historic confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson as the next associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. At a time when our democracy and freedoms are under threat, we are confident that Justice Jackson will represent the best of America, and defend our Jewish values as an exceptional Supreme Court Justice.

“Jewish Dems applaud President Biden’s historic choice and are proud of Senate Democrats ensuring Justice Jackson’s swift confirmation. We look forward to Justice Jackson getting to work on the Court, and continuing the legacies of Justices Ginsburg and Breyer in the pursuit of justice for all.”
