President Biden’s Wake Up Call for American Voters
President Biden’s State of the Union address was the wake-up call Americans needed to ensure we do everything possible to defend our freedom and democracy in November. Drawing on history and his experience, the President warned that “what makes our moment rare is that freedom and democracy are under attack both at home and overseas at the very same time.”
More than three years after January 6th and two years after Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, it appears that half the country doesn’t care or is in a state of denial about threats to our democracy and freedom and what it means for our future. In other words, half of the country desperately needs a wake-up call before the 2024 election.
As President Biden said during his State of the Union address, “This is no ordinary moment,” and we all have a role to play. We must wake up before November 5 and vote to defend our democracy before it’s too late, and we hope you’ll support JDCA and join our efforts to elect Democrats in November.
