Now is the time to get involved
The leader of the Republican Party and presumptive GOP presidential nominee is a convicted felon. As the political home and voice of Jewish voters, it’s our job to make sure Jewish voters across the country understand the danger Donald Trump poses to our democracy and our community. 157 days before the most important election of our lifetimes, we hope you’ll join us in taking action to elect Democrats who share our values, including President Biden.
Read and share our key messages for why Donald Trump is bad for Jewish Americans and bad for Israel.
Yesterday, Trump was found guilty on all 34 felony charges of falsifying business records. That’s just one – but certainly not the only – reason Americans should vote to defeat him in November. Trump had his day in court, and soon we will have our day at the ballot box. Become a JDCA surrogate in your network by sharing our key messages on why Donald Trump is dangerous for Jewish Americans and Israel.
Trump was a convicted felon for less than an hour before he started blaming his conviction on Jews, continuing to fuel the flames of antisemitic conspiracy theories about George Soros. Trump has a record of engaging in antisemitic rhetoric and expressing consternation toward the vast majority of American Jews.
There is a stark contrast between Donald Trump’s extremism and Joe Biden’s support for Jewish Americans and Israel. Today, President Biden addressed the nation, discussing a ceasefire and hostage release deal approved by Israel. The President has placed the onus on Hamas to accept the deal, calling this “a decisive moment” and saying that “now it’s time to raise your voices and demand that Hamas come to the table and agree to this deal and end this war that they began.”
Take action with JDCA by getting out the vote for Democrats who share our values, including by joining a JDCA phone bank for George Latimer in the NY-16 primary, whose primary election against Jamaal Bowman is on June 25. Latimer, a longtime progressive leader in Westchester County and a partner to Jewish New Yorkers, resolutely stands with our community when challenging moments arise, including the current one.
Our first phone bank will be on Tuesday, June 4. Sign up to take action.
