NEW JEWISH VOTER POLL: Harris 72 vs. Trump 25
JDCA Polling, a special project of JDCA, just released its first nationwide poll of Jewish voters in the 2024 election and the first poll of Jewish voters with Vice President Harris at the top of the ticket. Here’s what the poll found in a head-to-head matchup between Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump:
Kamala Harris: 72%
Donald Trump: 25%
The poll results confirm that Jewish Americans overwhelmingly support Kamala Harris and continue to reject Donald Trump. Trump has made no headway with Jewish voters in the past three elections. Still, we can’t take this support for granted. Polls don’t vote. Jewish Americans who support Kamala Harris can only make a difference in battleground states if they VOTE. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to directly engage with Democratic and independent Jewish voters in key states in support of Harris-Walz and other Democrats who share our values.
Just last week, Donald Trump disparaged millions of American Jews and falsely asserted that he would win 50% of the Jewish vote. This poll confirms that he is gravely mistaken. About three out of four Jewish voters are on track to support Kamala Harris in this election.
Nearly all – 91% – of Jewish voters are concerned about antisemitism in the United States, and Jewish voters trust Kamala Harris more than Donald Trump to fight antisemitism by nearly a three-to-one margin (60%–23%).
That’s because Donald Trump himself has been a source of antisemitic rhetoric. 80% of Jewish voters disagree with Donald Trump’s repeated insults targeting millions of Jewish Americans, and 84% of those voters think his insults are antisemitic.
Trump clearly has animus for the overwhelming majority of American Jews. This poll confirms that the feeling is mutual. While he continues to denigrate the vast majority of Jewish voters, those same Jewish voters – many in battleground states – are preparing to play a critical role in his defeat this November.
The data is clear: Jewish Americans do not want a Trump second term. If we get Jewish voters to the polls, we will win in November.
JDCA and JDCA PAC are contacting more than two million Jewish voters in battleground states and districts before Election Day – these are the voters who will decide control of the White House, the Senate, and the House. Your donation to JDCA PAC today directly supports this work to ensure victory for Democrats by funding direct voter engagement, Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts on college campuses, and advertisements targeting Jewish voters in key states and districts.
Jewish voters overwhelmingly support Kamala Harris. We need to get them to the polls.
