When it comes to preparing for the next election, there’s no such thing as “too early.” That’s why JDCA is laying the groundwork for the 2026 midterms, where we’re focusing on helping Democrats flip the House from red to blue. Democrats winning this election will make all the difference, providing an essential check on Trump’s agenda and providing transparency in government that will help Democrats win in 2028.

How We Flip the House in Two Essential Steps:

Step One: Protect Democrats Who Are Fighting For Us.

Flipping the House means winning at least five Republican-held seats nationwide. Soon, JDCA will announce our next round of endorsements in key battleground districts where the Jewish vote will make the biggest difference in flipping seats and electing strong Democratic challengers.

Why 2026 Matters – Electing a Democratic House majority means we can:

  • Block Trump’s extremist agenda by controlling at least one chamber of Congress.

  • Set the agenda in the House, from defending democracy and reproductive freedom to protecting voting rights and fighting antisemitism.

  • Use our subpoena power to investigate and conduct oversight of the Executive Branch, reasserting checks and balances.

  • Prevent Trump’s devastating cuts to Medicaid and the social safety net, which begin under the Big Ugly Bill in 2027, unless Democrats win.

  • Lay the foundation to win the White House in 2028 by showing Americans that Democratic leadership delivers on its promises
