The events of this weekend underscored that the GOP is in disarray. Kevin McCarthy demonstrated an inability to lead his party and avert a government shutdown without the support of Democrats. Were it not for Democrats making a deal to fund the government and saving McCarthy from the extremists who have overtaken his party, the U.S. government would have come to a halt on Saturday at midnight. This would have never happened if Democrats were in control of the House, and we’re working to ensure that’s the case in the next election.

JDCA is working to take back the House, expand our Senate majority, and re-elect President Biden in 2024. We’re working to defend democracy and ensure the next election is free, fair, and that each vote is counted.
