Joe Biden responds to JDCA’s endorsement

This morning, JDCA announced our strong support of Joe Biden because he shares our values and vision for the future. In an endorsement letter sent to Vice President Biden from JDCA’s Board of Directors, we stated, “You have fought against bigotry and discrimination, and to end the epidemic of gun violence that plagues our nation. You have led the advancement of our national security through a strong and principled foreign policy. Despite your own personal challenges, you have always put the interests of the American people first. You have repeatedly demonstrated unwavering leadership in times of progress and in times of hardship, such as the unprecedented public health crisis facing us now.”

BIDEN RESPONDS: Shortly after receiving our endorsement, Biden told Jewish Insider: “I’m honored to have the endorsement of the Jewish Democratic Council of America. They are an important new voice for the progressive values that unite us here at home and for a secure, peaceful future for the Jewish and democratic State of Israel.”

JDCA’S BIDEN AD: Today, JDCA PAC released a video demonstrating that Donald Trump’s emboldening of white nationalism and other forms of extremism is not only a threat to Jews, but to all Americans, and that Joe Biden is the leader we need to unify and heal our country at this critical time.
