JDCA’s Week of Action – 48 Hill Meetings with Hundreds of You
This past week, JDCA mobilized Jewish voters to take their voices and values to Capitol Hill and advocate for issues of importance to Jewish Americans. In the wake of antisemitic violence and President Trump’s escalating attacks on our democracy, we took meaningful action and engaged with our members of Congress.
In the past three days, hundreds of Jewish Democrats met with 48 congressional offices to advocate for our democracy and fight for our Jewish values.
Here’s what we’re fighting for:
- Combating the dangers of antisemitism, extremism, and white supremacy;
- Defending our democracy from Trump’s far-reaching authoritarian agenda;
- Protecting Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security from Trump and GOP cuts;
- Bringing the remaining 55 hostages held in captivity by Hamas home; and
- Israel’s safety and security, as well as humanitarian aid for Palestinians.
JDCA’s Week of Action could not have come at a more urgent time, as we have faced violent antisemitic attacks, and as Donald Trump seeks to dismantle our democratic freedoms and institutions. That is why hundreds of JDCA members shared our policy priorities with Congress, and Democrats heard our message and are working with us to fight back against Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans’ dangerous agenda.
As a JDCA member in 2025, you’ll gain access to exclusive events, including our upcoming virtual conversation on Wednesday, June 25, at 12:00 p.m. ET on Israel. If you are already a member, you will receive the link to register for this event soon.
Our Week of Action is over, but you can still take action with JDCA. Check out our Action Center to advocate to your members of Congress, and join us as we phone bank in Virginia to get out the vote for Abigail Spanberger for Governor.
Thank you for your partnership and support,
