The GOP’s 3 D’s
Disinformation, delegitimization, and disenfranchisement. These are the three D's the GOP uses to suppression voter turnout. No issue is more important in this moment than protecting our democracy and the fundamental right to vote.

Jewish Support for Voting Rights
83% of Jewish voters, including 50% of Jewish Republicans, are concerned about GOP-led voter suppression efforts. 76% of Jewish voters support passing federal legislation to protect voting rights, and 62% of Jewish voters support eliminating the filibuster to pass voting rights legislation.
States Suppressing the Vote
440 bills that restrict voting access were introduced in 49 states during legislative sessions in 2021. The bills aim to curtail absentee voting, seek stricter voter ID requirements, make voter registration harder, expand voter roll purges, and limit early voting among other restrictions.
GOP Obstruction and the Filibuster
The filibuster is a procedural tool used in the US Senate to block or delay legislation, and Republicans are abusing it to allow states to deny voting rights. Despite near unanimity among Democrats, and strong support among Jewish Americans, Republicans are blocking these crucial bills.
Take Action with Jewish Dems
We have a lot more work to do to make sure Democrats expand our majorities in the House and Senate in 2022. Stay engaged with JDCA and help continue our crucial work to get out the Jewish vote for Democrats, and to protect our democracy.
Support Our Work
We've seen that in close races, the Jewish vote can make the difference and deliver victory for Democrats. Supporting JDCA allows us to reach more voters across the country in support of candidates who represent our Jewish and Democratic values.
