JDCA to Trump on CNN: “The feeling is mutual”
Did you see Donald Trump’s latest antisemitic rant attacking Jewish Democrats?
The same week that a new Pew poll indicated that 79% of Jewish American voters disapprove of Donald Trump, he said, “Any Jewish person that votes for Democrats hates their religion. They hate everything about Israel, and they should be ashamed of themselves because Israel will be destroyed.”
I joined CNN News Central this morning to tell Donald Trump that – in response to the animus and disdain he has repeatedly demonstrated toward the vast majority of American Jews – “the feeling is mutual.”
Donald Trump has pledged to be a “dictator on day one.” He aligns with and admires dictators like Putin and Orban, and we should take him at his word.
Trump continues to threaten our democracy, freedoms, reproductive rights, and security. He unabashedly aligns with far-right extremists and refuses to condemn white supremacy. He’s dangerous and a threat to us all.
We are loyal to our values – not an aspiring dictator – and we’ll do everything we can to reelect President Biden in November.
In solidarity,
