BREAKING: Jewish Dems Endorse 17 House Candidates

March 2, 2022

Last night, President Biden delivered an inspiring State of the Union address. The President assured the country and the world that we stand with Ukraine, highlighted the massive economic recovery in the past year, and presented an agenda of continued progress and unity in the future. The state of our union is strong and our future is bright because President Biden and Democrats control the White House and Congress. In this critically important election year, we’re aiming to keep it that way in November, and we need your help.

Just as democracy is being attacked abroad, Republican attempts at voter suppression and election subversion threaten our most basic democratic principles. It is going to take our continued efforts to get out the vote and defend democracy, and we’re working to do just that and elect Democrats who share our values.

That’s why today, in the immediate aftermath of President Biden’s first State of the Union, we announced JDCA’s second round of endorsements in the 2022 midterm election cycle. We have endorsed an additional 17 House incumbents who embody Jewish and Democratic values and are well-deserving of another term in Congress. These endorsements bring JDCA’s total 2022 endorsements to 30, on top of the 13 Senate endorsements announced late last year.

Jewish Dems are proud to endorse: Rep. Tom O’Halleran (AZ-02), Rep. Greg Stanton (AZ-04), Rep. Katie Porter (CA-47), Rep. Josh Harder (CA-09), Rep. Mike Levin (CA-49), Rep. Sean Casten (IL-06), Rep. Lauren Underwood (IL-14), Rep. Cindy Axne (IA-03), Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI-07), Rep. Dan Kildee (MI-05), Rep. Andy Kim (NJ-03), Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05), Rep. Tom Malinowski (NJ-07), Rep. Mikie Sherill (NJ-11), Rep. Dina Titus (NV-01), Rep. Elaine Luria (VA-02), and Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-07).

In consecutive elections, JDCA and JDCA PAC have helped Democrats win elections by targeting voters where the Jewish community can impact the outcome of competitive races. That’s our playbook, and we’re confident it will work again in 2022 as we mobilize on behalf of these 17 members of Congress who are on the front lines of defending democracy and combatting right-wing extremism.
