Biden’s Warning to America

March 8, 2024

The state of our union is strong because of President Biden’s leadership and policies, which align with the priorities and interests of Jewish Americans. We applaud President Biden’s moral clarity, leadership, experience, and wisdom – all of which he demonstrated in last night’s State of the Union address. We share his optimism and vision for the future, and we will work to ensure he’s in office for four more years so he can continue to deliver for the American people.

Last night’s speech underscored the clear choice in this election. MAGA Republicans, including Donald Trump, pose a grave threat to our democracy, rights, security, and freedoms. Drawing on his experience, the President issued a stark warning about the threat facing our democracy and freedoms. He said, What makes our moment rare is that freedom and democracy are under attack, both at home and overseas, at the very same time.

The stakes could not be higher in this election and that includes the fight for reproductive freedom and abortion rights. President Biden pledged to the nation that if we send him a Congress that supports the right to choose, I promise you, I will restore Roe v. Wade as the law of the land.” He talked about the Republican plan to impose a federal abortion ban and reminded the GOP about the power of women voters – They found out…when reproductive freedom was on the ballot and won in 2022, 2023, and they will find out again, in 2024.”

We all have a role to play to ensure the President and Democrats are elected in November, and the stakes could not be higher. Trump and the GOP’s policies are antithetical to Jewish values, and we’ll do everything we can to mobilize Jewish voters to re-elect President Biden, flip the House from red to blue, and increase the Senate majority in November. 2024 ENDORSEMENTS AND MD-06 CANDIDATE FORUM
In the immediate aftermath of Super Tuesday, JDCA endorsed 30 incumbent House Democrats across the country in our latest endorsements in the 2024 election cycle. These endorsements come after JDCA’s success in NY-03, where Jewish voters made a difference in electing Tom Suozzi and flipping that seat from red to blue. JDCA will work to replicate this success in mobilizing voters with digital ads, phone banks, and text banks, ensuring that Jewish voters turn out for Democrats in states and districts where they can make the difference.
