Help flip NY-3 red to blue
The special election in NY-3 to replace disgraced former Republican Rep. George Santos is eight days away. The Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA) is supporting Democrat Tom Suozzi, a former member of Congress who has fought to protect abortion rights, defend democracy, and stands with Israel and Jewish Americans against antisemitism. He is a proven ally of the Jewish community and shares our values, especially standing with Israel against Hamas’s brutal attacks on October 7. Meanwhile, his GOP opponent, Mazi Pilip, admitted over the weekend that she believes the overturn of Roe v Wade was “the right decision” and called Donald Trump a “great president.” She is a MAGA Republican who will stand with Trump and put our freedoms at risk.
Flipping NY-3 from red to blue on February 13 will bring Democrats one seat closer to taking back control of the House this November, and the Jewish vote — approximately 11 percent of the electorate — can make a critical difference. As we said today in Jewish Insider, this special election will demonstrate “the power of the Jewish vote.” Help ensure the Jewish vote turns out for Tom Suozzi by joining us TOMORROW, Tuesday, February 6, at 5:00 P.M. ET / 2:00 P.M. PT to call Jewish voters in NY-3, the congressional district with the fourth largest Jewish population. Rep. Dan Goldman will open the phone bank. We will also host a phone and text bank this Thursday, February 8 at 5:00 P.M. ET / 2:00 P.M. PT. Click here to sign up.
