President Biden signed increased funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program into law, diverting funds to help secure synagogues, JCCs, and Jewish day schools from antisemitic hate crimes. He has hosted Holocaust survivors in the Oval Office, visited Yad Vashem, and has committed to ensuring Jewish Americans’ safety.

Over 90% of Jewish voters support increased gun safety measures. Pres. Biden signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the first major piece of gun control legislation in three decades which closes the boyfriend loophole, provides funding to implement red flag laws, expands background checks for 18-21-year-olds, and increases funding for mental health in schools.

Pres. Biden and Democrats codified rights for the LGBTQI+ community through the Respect for Marriage Act & are protecting abortion access and reproductive healthcare.
