As we approach Rosh Hashanah, Jewish Dems wish you a Shana Tova U’metuka, a happy and sweet new year. Our democracy and values are on the line in 5783, and JDCA is providing many ways for you to defend our democracy by getting out the Jewish vote for Democrats in the new year.
At JDCA’s star-studded virtual rally, Path to Victory: Democracy Depends on Us, we discussed how the Jewish vote can make the difference in close elections. Speaker Pelosi acknowledged the impact of the Jewish vote and our movement: “With JDCA leading the way, Jewish voters will be our path to victory again this November.” The stakes could not be higher and as the political home of Jewish Democrats, we’re calling on you, as Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff said at our rally, to ensure “it be a sweet, and blue, New Year for all.” Rewatch the rally here or check out the highlights of the rally here.
We encourage you to put your values into action with JDCA to help us expand Democrats’ congressional majorities. Here is your next chance to take action: Join us on Wednesday, September 28 for a special event with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. You can also sign up for JDCA phone banks, text banks, and chapter events to get out the Jewish vote for Democrats.
Direct contact with voters is the centerpiece of our electoral efforts and we need your help to reach as many voters as possible. That is why JDCA is hosting phone and text banks from now until Election Day. We encourage you to join as many of our direct voter contact opportunities as you can.
