🍏🍯 A Sweet 5785 with Harris-Walz in the White House

October 2, 2024

Jewish Dems wish you a Shana Tova U’metuka, a happy and sweet new year. We are grateful for your support and partnership as we work together to ensure that 5785 and 2025 includes Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the White House.

Shana Tova U'metuka

As we prepare for Rosh Hashanah, Jewish Americans continue to be grateful for President Biden and Vice President Harris standing with Israel. For the second time this year, the Biden-Harris administration took unprecedented action by ordering the U.S. military to directly defend Israel by helping to intercept dozens of Iranian ballistic missiles.

The White House’s meticulous joint planning with the IDF helped to ensure Iran’s attack was defeated and ineffective, with no Israeli lives lost and minimal damage. Biden and Harris have once again taken historic action to ensure Israel’s security and right to self-defense, and Jewish Americans are grateful.

Kamala Harris has proven time and time again that she stands with Jewish Americans and Israel. Any claims to the contrary are not based on the truth. The conversation may turn political as you gather to celebrate Rosh Hashanah with family and friends, so we’re arming you with the facts on Kamala Harris’s record.

GET THE FACTS ON ISRAEL: KAMALA HARRIS STANDS WITH US

The response of President Biden and Vice President Harris stands in stark contrast with the unconscionable statement made last night by Donald Trump, which clearly demonstrates that the national security interests of America and its allies, including Israel, are not his priority. Even amid armed conflict, all Donald Trump can think about is himself. He’s made that abundantly clear. Donald Trump’s only priority is winning this election, and he’s willing to engage in lies, hate, and vitriol to do it, even as Israel is under attack.

MARKING ONE YEAR SINCE OCTOBER 7

On Monday, October 7, at 12:00 p.m. ET, Jewish Democrats will gather as a community to mark one year since the horrific Hamas attacks on October 7. We’ll mark the day together by mourning those whose lives have been lost and urging a return of the hostages. Join JDCA, members of the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, members of Congress, and others here.
