A new year. A new fight. A critical deadline.

Last week, we welcomed 5786 with hope guided by compassion, community, and action. In the first few days of this new year, we’re facing two crucial fights we must win, and we hope you’ll join us.

Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans in Congress are threatening the stability and safety of our country because they’d rather shut down the government than honor their commitments to the American people. Make no mistake – Republicans are choosing to shut down the government instead of providing affordable healthcare to millions of Americans.

In addition, several states are just weeks away from crucial elections. Democrats must win the gubernatorial elections this November in New Jersey and Virginia to defend our democracy, and Jewish voters may decide the outcomes of these races.

JDCA is playing a critical role in both these fights – and others – and tonight is our third-quarter fundraising deadline. If you’ve joined us at any point – for an event, a phone bank, a call to action – we hope you’ll support our efforts to meet this moment and help us fight with the urgency and effort required to win.
