White House joining JDCA Community Conversation on Abortion Justice
The Supreme Court’s unconscionable reversal of Roe v. Wade is an affront to our Jewish and Democratic values. 83% of Jewish Americans believe abortion should be legal and 75% opposed the overturning of Roe. At this critical juncture, Jewish Dems will do everything we can to defend reproductive rights and turn out the vote for pro-choice Democrats in November.
To explore the many aspects of this issue, join us for Reproductive Freedom in Crisis: A Jewish Community Conversation About Abortion Justice on Thursday, June 30 at 1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT. We’re thrilled to announce that we will now be joined by Senior Advisor to the Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement Sherice Perry, along with Slate Senior Editor and legal expert Dahlia Lithwick, National Council of Jewish Women Scholar in Residence Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg, and activist and co-founder of the JANE Collective Heather Booth.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, and thank you for your support and partnership,
Bobby Saferstein,
Director of Programming and Strategy, Jewish Democratic Council of America
