Election Day is Tuesday – Help Dems Win in Virginia

Election day in Virginia and New Jersey is TUESDAY. We’re in the final stretch and Jewish Dems are doing everything we can to support Terry McAuliffe and Phil Murphy. The polls in Virginia are closer than ever before, and much is at stake — these elections have national political implications.
Glenn Youngkin would bring Donald Trump’s extremism to Virginia and would give Republicans a big win in the lead-up to the 2022 midterms and 2024 presidential election. We can’t let that happen, and we are asking for your help to elect Terry McAuliffe Governor of Virginia.
Terry McAuliffe is a proven leader and friend to the Jewish community: McAuliffe served as Virginia’s Governor from 2014-2018, leading the Commonwealth to economic success. As governor, he fought for issues that are priorities of Jewish voters, including: investing in education, access to affordable healthcare, fighting climate change, and creating good clean energy jobs. He also has a strong history of supporting the Jewish community and he strongly supports the U.S. relationship with Israel. His leadership reflects our Jewish and Democratic values, and Jewish Dems are proud to support him.
McAuliffe stands up to right-wing extremism: When neo-Nazis marched in Charlottesville, Terry McAullife was the leader Americans needed and deserved in rejecting right-wing extremism and white supremacy. In response to one of the most brazen incidents of antisemitism in American history, McAuliffe stood against hate and with the Jewish community.
Glenn Youngkin is Trump’s hand-picked candidate: Youngkin said he was “proud to be endorsed by President Trump” and that Trump “represents so much of why I’m running.” Youngkin has refused to denounce Trump’s politics of hate, and used antisemitic tropes in this campaign.
Virginia is a key part of Donald Trump and the Republican Party’s slow moving coup to subvert our democracy. Youngkin launched his campaign by spreading Trump’s Big Lie and attempting to undermine confidence in our democracy. He’s partnering with dangerous extremists like Steve Bannon and Sebastian Gorka. If elected, Youngkin will help Trump push his dangerous extreme right-wing agenda.
It’s the final sprint in the Virginia election, and there’s no better way to get involved now than to volunteer with JDCA.
