3️⃣ ways to make a difference in November

September 17, 2024

Happy National Voter Registration Day.

Election Day is seven weeks from today, and many of us will vote before November 5. We know this election will be very close, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. There are three crucial steps you can take right now to ensure Jewish Americans make the difference for Democrats this November.

REGISTER TO VOTE

First, even if you’re already registered to vote – and we know many of you are – please check your registration and make sure that everyone of voting age in your family is registered. Did you remember to change your registration if you recently moved or changed your name? Are your college-aged friends or family registered to vote where they go to school or at home, depending on where their votes will make the biggest difference? Forward the following voter registration link to anyone you know who may need a reminder.

You can register to vote and check your voter registration here.

Check vote.gov for information on voting as a college student.

VOLUNTEER TO REACH JEWISH VOTERS

Second, JDCA is aiming to make more than two million direct Jewish voter contacts before Election Day. Direct voter contacts are the most impactful way to influence how and if someone votes. Help us reach our goal by joining a phone or text bank or a canvass in your area. Head to our “DO SOMETHING” page to find in-person or virtual opportunities.

You’ll find the following opportunities for making direct voter contacts:

  • Phone banking and text banking – calling or texting Jewish voters;
  • Canvassing – going door to door to connect with your neighbors;
  • Join our travelers program – travel to battleground states for canvassing;
  • And more!

There are 49 more days in this election. Every action you take – from registering to volunteering to donating – helps to bring us closer to victory.

Thank you,
