25 Days to Defend Democracy - Jewish Democratic Council of America

MAGA Republicans and election deniers running for office across the country threaten the future of American democracy. Yesterday, the January 6th Committee subpoenaed Donald Trump and laid out how his assault on our democracy did not start when he refused to accept defeat in 2020 and did not end when he incited an insurrection on January 6, 2021. As Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) said yesterday: “It was a premeditated plan by the president to declare victory no matter what the actual result was.”

This week, JDCA PAC released a new ad targetting Jewish voters in Nevada, warning against MAGA Republican Senate candidate Adam Laxalt’s dangerous extremism. The ad concludes by emphasizing that Nevada’s incumbent, Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, is aligned with Jewish voters on key issues, such as defending democracy and abortion access. Watch the ad here.
