🚨ENDORSEMENT ALERT 🚨

November 6, 2023

This week, JDCA announced the endorsement of 25 Democratic members of Congress from 16 states who are running for re-election in competitive 2024 elections. As Israel’s war with Hamas continues and Jewish Americans face surging antisemitism, JDCA is taking action. We have expanded our political and programming efforts and are accelerating our election work. We understand that one of the most important steps we can all take toward a better future is ensuring Democrats maintain control of the White House and Senate and take back the House in 2024.

The House Republican majority, which tolerates extremism and insurrectionists and expresses contempt for American democracy, has proven incapable of governing. Their efforts to slow aid to Israel during its crisis by conditioning aid on their extremist priorities are unacceptable. It’s time for Democrats to take back the House and demonstrate the moral clarity and leadership lacking among Republicans. The 25 members of Congress we are endorsing for re-election are strong supporters of Israel, close friends and partners of JDCA and the Jewish community, and their victories will be critical to ensuring Democrats take back control of the House.

The 25 candidates endorsed today are:

  • Mary Peltola (AK-AL)
  • Mike Levin (CA-49)
  • Jahana Hayes (CT-05)
  • Yadira Caraveo (CO-08)

Thank you for your partnership and continued support of JDCA.
