🚨Key Endorsements for 2025 & 2026🚨

August 28, 2025

We can win back control of Congress and stop Republicans from rubberstamping Trump’s extreme authoritarian agenda. It requires winning elections in 2025 and 2026 and laying the groundwork for winning in 2028.

Today, we’re announcing six key endorsements that are essential Democratic wins.

Jewish Dems are endorsing Roy Cooper in North Carolina and Sherrod Brown in Ohio – two Senate candidates running in races Democrats must win to flip the Senate from red to blue in the midterms.

For elections happening this November, we are endorsing Jay Jones for Virginia Attorney General – a proven fighter who will defend our freedoms in Virginia. This is the first time we’ve endorsed a candidate for Attorney General.

Additionally, in Pennsylvania, we’re endorsing Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht for reelection to maintain a Democratic majority on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

We are even more hopeful about prospects for Democratic wins after Democrats have won nearly every competitive election in 2025, including Tuesday night, when a Democrat won 55% of the vote in a special state Senate election in eastern Iowa. This district went for Trump by 11 percentage points last year, and on Tuesday, the Democrats both flipped the seat and broke the Republicans’ supermajority in the state Senate.

Let’s ensure these wins continue, let’s take back control, and let’s stop Trump’s authoritarian power grab. Let’s hit the ground running in support of our endorsed candidates who will defend our democracy, our freedoms, and our values from right-wing extremists at every level of our government.

JDCA previously endorsed Abigail Spanberger for Governor of Virginia and Mikie Sherrill for Governor of New Jersey. By endorsing these new six candidates, we are poised to make a bigger investment in electing Democrats who share our values.

Thank you for your partnership and support.

In solidarity,

Sam Crystal
