Jewish Dems Condemn Iranian Attack on Israel & Donald Trump’s Response

WASHINGTON – Following Iran’s launch of ballistic missiles toward Israel, Halie Soifer, CEO of the Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA), shared:

“We strongly condemn Iran’s latest attack on Israel. Amid growing instability and uncertainty in the Middle East, Jewish Americans are grateful that President Biden and Vice President Harris stand with Israel, including deploying the U.S. military to help Israel intercept dozens of Iranian ballistic missiles. The Biden-Harris administration again, without hesitation, used U.S. military assets and resources to directly defend Israel, which no other administration has done. We appreciate the staunch support of the Biden-Harris White House when it comes to supporting Israel’s security and right to self-defense, and their condemnation of Iran’s direct missile attack on Israel.

“The actions of the Biden-Harris administration stand in stark contrast with the unconscionable and sophomoric statement made by Donald Trump, which clearly demonstrates that the national security interests of America and Israel are not his priority. Even amid armed conflict, Trump can only think about himself. Trump’s only priority is winning this election, and he’s willing to engage in lies, apocalyptic hyperbole, and vitriol in order to do it, even as Israel is under attack. Trump continues to demonstrate – in his unconscionable words and actions – that he’s uniquely incapable of serving as Commander-in-Chief and that Israel and our allies cannot rely on him – nor can the American people.
